The Langley Family Housing Team knows that sometimes getting a new community built while living around construction is far from convenient. We can only hope that you are as excited about all the new homes and amenities as we are. This notice is being sent out in order to let you know that the First Street Gate closest to the Chapel will be closed as of August 8th in order to route new utility infrastructure. The details are listed below. Thank you for your continued patience as we build a wonderful new community.

• Buildings Impacted: Chapel, Religious Education Center and Pool. During this phase, primary access will be Fourth Street off of Big Bethel Road or First Street off of Hampton Highway. No significant impact to emergency vehicle response routes. Parking for these facilities will be at the school.


• Traffic Impact: First Street, from Route 134 to Big Bethel Road will be impacted with occasional restricted access. Work in this phase will be accomplished from Endeavor Lane to 6th Street


• Equipment Placement Impact: Appropriate signage and traffic control will be in place as required.


• Date and Time: Phase 1 to start 08 Aug 11 thru 15 Sep 11, Phase 2 to start 15 Sep 11 to 21 Oct 11 and Phase 3 start date still pending.


• Summary of Work: Hunt Building Company requires restricted traffic lanes on First Street in order to install needed utilities and the widening of First Street. This is the first of 3 phases. Traffic control will be provided as required.
